colorsthe sky's last fading burst of light a rainbow without the rain from blood red to the deepest blue and every color in between i can see it oh so clearly the stitching of the universecolors
trees lay against this array of color like the dark thread that connects
us to the earth like a dark disease that spreads into the sky the black lines spread like fingers i can see the vibrant colors through but now it is fractured fragmented

i catch a glimpse of my own woven scarf aqua and orange threads saying gracefully perfectly timed with the beat of my steps dun dun dun dun dun dun drumming on the cold hard concrete like an ancient song dancing in the cool wind i think to myself no, today is not dull and life is indeed good in it's most simple ways.
